This fabric is a polyester cotton twill fabric. Fluorescent orange fabric is usually made by interweaving high-end FDY or DTY filament with combed pure cotton sand thread. Through a specific twill structure, the polyester float on the fabric surface is much more than cotton, while the cotton float is concentrated on the back, forming a “polyester cotton” effect. This structure makes the front of the fabric easy to dye bright colors and has a full luster, while the back has the comfort and durability of high-strength cotton. Suitable for use in environmental sanitation and firefighting uniforms.

What is the difference between TR and TC fabric?

TR and TC fabrics are two widely used polyester blend textiles commonly found in apparel, uniforms, and workwear, each offering unique advantages based on their fiber composition and performance characteristics. TR fabric is a blend of polyester (T) and rayon (R), usually combined in ratios like 65/35 or 70/30. This fabric merges the durability and wrinkle resistance of polyester with the softness, breathability, and natural feel of rayon. TR fabric is known for its smooth texture, excellent drape, and good color absorption, making it a preferred choice for fashion garments, office wear, and lightweight suits that emphasize comfort and aesthetic appeal.

In contrast, TC fabric is a blend of polyester (T) and cotton (C), commonly found in ratios such as 65/35 or 80/20. TC fabric balances the strength, quick-drying, and wrinkle resistance of polyester with the breathability and moisture absorption of cotton. The cotton component gives TC fabric a slightly coarser texture compared to TR but enhances durability and ease of care, making it ideal for uniforms, workwear, and industrial clothing. TC fabric generally has better abrasion resistance and is more suitable for garments that require frequent washing and long-term wear.

While both TR and TC fabrics offer wrinkle resistance and durability, TR excels in softness, drape, and color vibrancy, suitable for more formal or fashion-focused applications. TC fabric provides greater durability, breathability, and practicality, making it a workhorse fabric for daily wear and heavy-use environments. The choice between TR and TC depends largely on the desired balance of comfort, appearance, and durability needed for the end product. Both blends deliver excellent value and performance, making them staples in the textile industry for versatile garment production.
